Human Rights Management Declaration

- We respect and endeavor to protect the dignity and values of all human beings including employees, customers, business partners, local community members. - We respect and support the international standards and norms of human rights such as the Universal Declaration of Human Rights (UN), the UN Guiding Principles on Business and Human Rights, the ILO Declaration on Fundamental Principles and Rights at Work, and the UN Global Compact, etc., thereby building a culture that favors human rights to fulfill and promote the international standards and norms by way of education and training. - We respect social, political, religious, and cultural diversities, and strictly prohibit any discrimination in terms of employment, wages, promotion, compensation, education opportunity, and any other areas on the grounds of gender, race, language, race, nationality, religion, education background, disability, marriage, pregnancy, age, blood relation, status, political opinion, or sexual identity or orientation, etc. - We respect the employees’ freedom of assembly and association and do not take any unfair measures such as discrimination, retaliation, threats, harassment, etc. on the grounds that the employees participate in the legitimate assembly, association, or bargaining activities. - We strictly prohibit forced labor against the employees’ will and do not engage in any activity or transaction that is associated with human rights abuse including forced labor. - We comply with the legal minimum employment age of the country in which the business is operated, and strictly prohibit child labor and youth labor that and do not guarantee educational opportunities for children and adolescents. - We comply with working conditions such as working hours, wages, and holidays prescribed by the labor-related laws of the relevant country in which the business is carried out, and do not impose working conditions lower than the standards under such laws. - We prohibit bullying and sexual harassment in all workplaces, regardless of physical and mental forms, including abuse, violence, and bullying. - We acknowledge that it is the right of executives and employees to work in a safe and pleasant environment and strive to create a physically and mentally safe working environment. - We respect the lives, safety, and property rights of members of the community where the business is carried out, actively participate in various activities to fulfill social responsibilities as members of the community, and actively listen to the opinions of the community to develop together with the community. - We establish plans to recognize and prevent human rights risks that may arise in the course of management activities, and promptly take appropriate measures to remedy human rights violations. - We comply with environmental laws and international agreements in conducting management activities and do our best to protect the environment and respond to climate change.
